This special organization consists of a fine group of chefs, cooks, pastry and baking professionals, culinary students, apprentices, purveyors, chef educators and various culinarians and industry insiders whom well understand the value of a sound culinary education and are here to support you in your exciting journey to become successful professionals. THE GOALS OF PCAH FOR JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

Educational Opportunities
PCAH sponsors many educational seminars and workshops (conducted by the professionals in the field) to keep you aware of the latest culinary trends and various subjects of interest. If there are any particular areas or subjects which you would like to see featured during these seminars and workshops, please contact us.

In addition, the organization has just implemented a complete and unique ACF in-house culinary apprenticeship program through which students go through a 3 or 2 year ACF culinary training program at one of the pre-approved establishments here in the city of Houston and graduate as a Certified Culinarian (CC).

Culinary Competitions
Culinary competitions are a great opportunity for you to gain a wealth of knowledge and to sharpen your skills and display your talent. PCAH will sponsor ACF- approved culinary competitions for junior members to get such great exposure and to fine tune their craft. We will also hold educational workshop in your preparation for these competitions.

PCAH Junior Culinary Team
The knowledge and experience gained from being on the team will provide you the opportunity of a lifetime and will benefit you tremendously throughout your career.

Providing Mentoring and shadowing Programs under Successful Chefs and Culinarians
As a member of PCAH, shadowing opportunities could be arranged for you to follow and learn from some of the best chefs in the city of Houston and our region. Please contact us via e-mail for more details.

Providing Networking Opportunities
Through PCAH’s educational meetings, social gatherings, seminars and workshops, you will have a great opportunity you meet fellow students, chefs, industry leaders, culinarians, purveyors and get fresh insight into industry’s ever-changing culinary and hospitality scenes and trends.

Providing Links to Culinary Scholarships and Grants
The organization will provide you with information and links to various culinary and industry scholarships and grants available through your membership.
