We at the Professional Chef’s Association of Houston Chapter of the American Culinary Federation, work toward one end: That of educating ourselves and those who aspire to become professional chefs in our community, in order to raise the standards of excellence within our profession and promote an environment of continued growth.
We commit our time and resources, however possible, to provide an apprenticeship program based on uncompromising standards of excellence, (in conjunction with the ACFEI National Apprenticeship Program), for those who would become professional cooks and chefs such as ourselves, and to provide educational seminars and training sessions to further our own continuing education and professional growth.
We appreciate and promote diversity in our membership ranks and continually strive to increase our knowledge and skill level through cooperative efforts among ourselves.
We recognize that our strength lies in our unity as a group and in our ability to act inter-dependently.
We commit to enlisting as many cooks and chefs into our membership ranks, (who seriously wish to participate in this mutually beneficial association), as we are able.
We are recognized and respected both nationally and locally as a group of professionals with a singleness of purpose.
